Our refund and cancellation policy varies depending on the type of service or product you have purchased. Please review the specific terms for your service category below.
2. Software Development Services
2.1 Custom Software Development
For custom software development projects:
- Initial Deposit (30-50%): Non-refundable once work has commenced
- Milestone Payments: Non-refundable after milestone approval
- Project Cancellation: If you cancel before work begins, 100% refund of deposit. If work has begun, refund calculated based on work completed plus 20% cancellation fee
- Unsatisfactory Work: We offer 2 rounds of revisions at no cost. If still unsatisfied, we will refund 50% of the last milestone payment
2.2 Website Development
- Template Websites: 50% refund if cancelled before design phase begins
- Custom Websites: Deposit non-refundable after design approval
- E-commerce Sites: Deposit non-refundable; milestone payments follow completion percentages
3. Software Products
3.1 Ready-Made Software
- Digital Downloads: No refunds after download/activation due to the nature of digital products
- Software with License Keys: 7-day refund window if software has technical issues we cannot resolve
- Subscription Services: Pro-rated refund for unused portion of current billing cycle
3.2 Mobile Apps
- Custom App Development: 50% refund if cancelled within first week of development
- App Store Purchases: Subject to app store refund policies (Google Play/Apple App Store)
4. IT Consulting Services
- Hourly Consulting: Full refund if cancelled 48+ hours before session; 50% refund if cancelled 24-48 hours before; no refund for cancellations within 24 hours
- Retainer Packages: Unused hours can be rolled over to next month; no cash refunds on unused retainer hours
- One-time Consultations: 100% refund if cancelled 72 hours before; 50% refund 24-72 hours before; no refund within 24 hours
5. Training and Workshops
- Public Workshops: Full refund up to 7 days before event; 50% refund 3-6 days before; no refund within 48 hours of event
- Private Training: Cancellation fees apply based on timing of cancellation
- Online Courses: 7-day money-back guarantee from date of purchase if less than 25% of course completed
- Corporate Training: Custom terms as per signed agreement
6. System Maintenance and Repairs
- Diagnostic Fee: Non-refundable as it covers time and expertise
- Repair Services: If we cannot fix the issue, 100% refund of repair costs (diagnostic fee excluded)
- Maintenance Contracts: Monthly contracts can be cancelled with 30 days notice; annual contracts pro-rated refund after 6 months
7. Bulk SMS Services
- SMS Credits: Unused credits valid for 12 months from purchase; refunds only within 7 days of purchase if no credits used
- Failed Deliveries: Credits for failed deliveries are automatically returned to your account
- Account Closure: Unused credits refunded minus 10% processing fee
8. Hardware and Accessories
- New Hardware: 7-day return policy for unopened items; 14 days for defective items (with manufacturer warranty)
- Refurbished Items: 3-day return policy; 30-day warranty on repairs
- Special Orders: Non-refundable unless defective
- Accessories: Unopened items refundable within 7 days; opened items exchange only if defective
9. Data Entry Services
- Hourly Rate: 50% refund if cancelled before work starts; no refund after work commences
- Per-Project Rate: If cancelled mid-project, refund based on percentage of work not completed
- Quality Issues: Free revisions within 7 days of delivery; if issues persist, refund calculated based on unusable work
10. Website Management and Hosting
- Hosting Fees: Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime (no refund for current month); annual plans pro-rated refund minus setup fees
- Domain Names: Non-refundable once registered
- SSL Certificates: Non-refundable after issuance
- Management Fees: Monthly fees refunded on pro-rated basis if cancelled mid-month
11. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Email us at refunds@adesolgbeict.com with your name, invoice number, and reason for refund
- Include any supporting documentation (screenshots, error messages, etc.)
- Our team will review your request within 3-5 business days
- You will receive a decision via email within 7 business days
- If approved, refunds are processed within 10 business days
Important Notes:
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method
- Bank transfer refunds may take 5-7 additional business days
- All refunds are in Nigerian Naira (NGN) regardless of original currency
- Processing fees (if applicable) are non-refundable
- Promotional/discounted purchases may have different refund terms
12. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you dispute a charge with your bank before contacting us:
- Your account may be temporarily suspended
- We will provide evidence of the transaction to your bank
- If the chargeback is found in your favor, your account will be closed
- We encourage contacting us first to resolve any issues
13. Exceptions
Refund requests outside this policy may be considered under exceptional circumstances including:
- Medical emergencies (with documentation)
- Technical issues on our end that cannot be resolved
- Duplicate transactions
- Fraudulent transactions
